Awaken announces New Changes for the 2015-2016 Year!
With Black Ops 3 just coming out, we here at Awaken wanted to take the time to sort out what we want done in 2016. Black Ops 3 presents a brand new opportunity for teams all over the world with the new eSports League going into full effect. This leaves all kinds of chances sitting there waiting for the taking, and we plan on using that to our advantage.
Awaken plans on getting a Call of Duty team worthy of the top sixteen at MLG and UMG events for the 2016 season. However, Call of Duty is not all we’re focussed on, as we see the potential on games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and League of Legends, so expect to see a team playing under the Awaken banner in those games as well. Not only do we want to compete, but we want to compete with the best teams around the world. Teams like Denial, FaZe, OpTic Gaming, EnVy, etc. Just giving these teams a hard victory will be more motivation than a team like Awaken would need to give them a big boost for future events, possibly giving us a win against teams of that caliber.
Awaken does not only want to be about competitive. While we do want to help grow the eSports community as a whole, we realize casual gamers are just as important, so we want to bring high quality entertainment to everyone through streaming and content on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch, and even include a shop for fans to purchase exclusive Awaken apparel. Graphic design is a great way to get designers and fans alike involved, so expect to see a big emphasis on graphics within the organization.
With the dedication and hunger this team has, it’s not hard to believe Awaken becoming a competitive team in the eSports community soon. The fans and players alike will be able to find exactly what they’re looking for with this organization, so we’re excited to become a place everyone will go to, not only for competitive games, but entertainment and graphics will be easy to find. Look forward to some big changes for 2016.
